Designed for absolute beginners, this course prepares you for the DELF A1 exam, the first official level of French proficiency recognized by the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

You’ll build all four core skills — listening, speaking, reading, and writing — through clear lessons, practical vocabulary, interactive exercises, and cultural insights. By the end, you won’t just understand French — you’ll feel confident using it in everyday situations.

1. I will apply French phonetics, pronunciation rules, liaison, and nasal sounds for clear speech and listening comprehension.
2. I will use core A1 vocabulary related to identity, family, classroom, food, hobbies, numbers, time, and surroundings.
3. I will apply noun genders, articles (definite, indefinite, partitive, contractés), and adjective agreements accurately.
4. I will conjugate regular -er, -ir, -re verbs and essential irregular verbs (to be, to have) in the present tense.
5. I will form affirmative, negative, and interrogative sentences to ask and answer everyday questions.
6. I will describe people, places, weather, and preferences using adjectives, possessives, and demonstratives.
7. I will read and write short French texts, paragraphs, and dialogues with correct sentence structure and clear expression of key ideas.
8. I will engage in short oral exchanges — introductions, shopping, and directions — through guided dialogues and role-plays.
